Google App Engine on 17th Aug, 2014 for 7th sem - reg

• Time: 8:00-10:00 AM (both A & B  divs)
• Venue: Mostly DBMS Lab.
• Topic: Demonstration on Google App Engine (GAE) basics and Codenvy.com - Simple Calculator
• Hands on by students: 10:30-12:30 PM
• Pre-requisite: Please watch these 7 videos on Java Business Applications (JBA) to make most out of the session.
• BYOD: As usual, please bring your own fully charged laptop, with charger, dongle and extension box (if you have).
• Attendance shall be taken at the end of the session.

Objective: Revise core java concepts learnt in 4th sem

Event name: Java code-fest

Date: 9th Aug, 2014

Time: 

A-Div: 10:00 AM in Room 20/21

B-Div: 8:00 AM in Room 22

Guidelines:

1) Bring your own fully charged (BYOD-Bring Your Own Device) laptop with charger

2) Ensure you have JDK installed

3) Hostelites get extension box if you have

4) You are free to discuss with your friends

5) You are free to bring java text-books

6) Bring your source-code which you developed in 4th sem (it is shared in 192.168.6.2)

Rules:

1) Projects shall be swapped (You shall get your friends' project) with given enhancements

2) All coding shall be done in console mode only

3) Use of internet is discouraged

It would be great, if you people finish off watching all 34 videos of Java, before attending this event.
